ROLEX SEA-DWELLER 16600 STAINLESS STEEL 2006

The Rolex Sea-Dweller was developed in the late 1960s and initially featured a depth rating of up to 2,000 feet. Eventually, the line would evolve into an impressive deep saturation diver with a resistance of up to 4,000 feet or 1,220 meters. To withstand such depths, Rolex equipped the case with a screw-down case back, a triple-sealed waterproof screw-down crown, a Cyclops-free crystal, and a Helium Escape Valve that is designed to allow gasses to escape from the case properly. The Sea-Dweller is also equipped with other standard Rolex dive watch features, such as a unidirectional time-lapse bezel and a dial topped with a luminous display. The ref. Rolex 16600 that is presented here today was produced from 1989 to 2009 and is a popular choice among pre-owned Rolex collectors for its classic feature set and availability on the market.
